The Fort York, York

I was pleasantly surprised by The Fort during our last-minute stay in York. The apartment was well-appointed and comfortable, ideal for our family, and located right in the middle of everything, which made exploring the city a breeze. While the communal kitchen was a great bonus, the noise from nearby bars was a slight downside, particularly on weekends. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay, especially given the value for money during the busy Easter holiday.

My stay at this boutique hotel was quite the mixed bag. The location was unbeatable, being right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore. Unfortunately, the noise levels were a significant downside, especially late at night, which made relaxation difficult.
